On the first Thursday of each month the club meets in the new Crowborough Community Centre, Pine Grove,
thus keeping links with the local area. Members enjoy other activities apart from the monthly meetings.
Every year special events are organized, such as workshops, luncheons, outings to gardens and Flower Festivals held at some our finest Cathedrals.
As well as enjoying a relaxed and friendly atmosphere you will get the opportunity to see demonstrations by
talented flower arrangers from the area and also from other parts of the country. Demonstrations are varied,
ranging from traditional methods of flower-arranging to the latest in floral artistry.
There is a charge of £5 for visitors to these meetings, but if you enjoy the experience you might like to think
of joining as a permanent member.
You do not need any previous knowledge of flower arranging, just an appreciation of what can be done with
flowers, foliage, and a bit of imagination!
From time to time, Club members give demonstrations and arrange 'workshops' at local care and residential
homes. The Club also enjoys taking part in flower festivals at our local churches. These events give members
splendid opportunities to interpret themes creatively, through the beauty of plants and flowers, and are
always greatly enjoyed by participants and those who attend services.
